LET'S TALK LASHES
Ok, so... you want lash extensions.... what are they?
Eye Lash Extensions are synthetic lashes that are applied with tweezers and semi permanent adhesive
designed to hold on to each one of your individual natural lashes for several weeks.
Extensions come in various lengths, widths and curls so we can customize a style to fit your face and desired look.
This is not a DIY service.
These are applied one at a time (classic lashes), or applied in multiples (volume lashes) to each one of your natural lashes with meticulous care.
You can also have a combination of these two techniques (hybrid lashes).
When I see you for this service there are a few things we need to discuss:
What do your natural lashes look like without makeup? Your lashes will tell us what they can handle.
Some people have really thick, long natural lashes that can take a lot of weight and other people have fine,
short natural lashes that can't take much.
Most people have somewhere in the middle. Notice I didn't say anything about length?
I can customize length and weight and curl for you specifically.
Some people prefer to have shorter extensions with a thicker, more voluminous look;
others prefer length over volume. If you wear glasses, don't worry, I can customize for that.
What type of look are you going for?
Do you want to look like you're wearing mascara?
Are you a professional and want to look great while wearing less makeup?
Do you want to be a bit more glamorous?
Are you the person who wants the longest and thickest possible style?
The health and thickness of your natural lashes as well as the shape of your face and eyes
and of course, your lifestyle, will be used to determine the best style of extensions for you.
Extensions can make your morning routine a lot easier and less time consuming.
No more mascara, and if you choose, you can go without eyeliners and use less eye shadow.
Sort of a cosmetic cheat if you will; extensions will make your eyes POP wether you're just waking up, exercising, swimming or just living your life, you will always look great.
Your first appointment will be the longest; about 90 min to 2 hours depending on which style we've chosen.
You must avoid mascara 24 hours prior to your first visit.
If you've been using waterproof please avoid for 48 hours.
Please come with a fresh clean face. No Make-Up at all.
If you have to use moisturizer please avoid your lashes.
To begin, you will be reclined back so you're comfortable and your bottom lashes will be protected with foam tape. Prepare for your eyes to be closed for the entire appointment as I apply to each of your natural lashes. It may take several minutes to adjust to the fact that I am working closely to your eyes but after a few minutes, most people focus on the music and find it very relaxing and fall to sleep while others prefer to talk a bit, as long as you're not too animated with moving around or face movements, either way is perfectly fine with me.
You will be awakened at the end with a fan blowing gently over your eyes to dry the bonder that cures the adhesive; and then the gentle removal of the tape. Then we're done!
You'll see your new look in a mirror and be amazed at your Disney Princess like beauty.
(This is my favorite moment)
I'll expect to see you in 2 weeks for a refill that will probably take 40-50 min.
Just like the first visit, you must come to every appointment with a fresh, clean face,
No Make-up and if you have to use moisturizers please avoid the lash area.
If you are coming to an evening appointment after work I will have Lash Wash for you.
At this time we can determine if you will continue at 1, 2 or 3 week
intervals to maintain this look.
We can always adjust fullness, length and style as we progress through appointments.
You are not married to any particular style and can change as the mood hits.
Maintenance is super easy, Just keep your lashes clean.
You'll want to avoid oils, glycols, sunscreens and moisturizers on your lashes.
You'll need to wash and brush your lashes every day.
That's it! There is a tiny learning curve to getting in a routine,
but once you get the hang of it, you'll find it is pretty easy.
We are partners now that you live the lash life, I am here for you every step of the way.
